Outer Banks Intimate Wedding

Matt + Jenn

Their Story:

We met back in 2010 through mutual friends while out for a night of karaoke. We dated for 10 years, spending a majority of time in different locations, moving across multiple cities as she worked her way through graduate school and I traveled weekly for my job. We moved from Ohio to Charlotte, NC in late 2015 and now live there full time together, moving into our new townhouse in September.

I proposed to Jenn in August 2019. Our busy schedule and packed weekends continued to delay and block plans I had for a bigger, more romantic proposal. I proposed to her in the living room of our apartment, by pouring our favorite local Charlotte beer and giving her the ring I had selected. We sat and talked for the next couple hours, enjoying the drink and talking through the nine year roller coaster of our relationship, with multiple job changes, moves from city to city and state to state, and all of the excitement to plan a wedding and celebrate with family and friends from Ohio, North Carolina, and anywhere else throughout the country.”

This couple shares the sweetest, most gentle love and MAN do they know how to throw a party. Matt + Jenn Booked The Black Stallion in Corolla, NC for their wedding day which boasts 24+ guest rooms, a bridal suite, pool + pool house, gym and ALL of this, just a mile from the ocean. With the help of the most epic live band and a big white tent, the stage was set for everyone to party in one location with their rooms just stumbling distance away. I will never, ever say no to a beach trip, especially if it’s to capture more madly-in-love couples.
